No, that is not the order of McDonald’s of your uncle with overweight or even an attacking lineman; That was Texas running back Quintrevion Wisner’s In his first two seasons in Austin, go to his favorite fast food place.
On only 6’0 ″, 200 pounds during his first two seasons, that seems like a good party for someone who plays a position of elusive and endurance. In some respects, however, it is an example of the way Wisner played. He was first a special tech, spot the task to run, block and hit more than avoid. Even when he was entrusted with taking early in the season and eventually 20 per game in the last five competitions of the season, he concentrated more on in-the-tackles, strong hands and good pass blocking.
But while he turns into his third and potential last, year in Austin, Wisner has a focus on this season: becomes elusive while he also adds weight and muscle to his framework.
“Certainly staying healthy, keeping my body healthy,” Wisner said about how to take his game to a higher level. “Now it’s crunch time. And then I would another thing I would say to take my game to another level, make my open-field tactics of the protections, making DBS Miss Open Field.”
That was not something that you saw a lot from Wisner in 2024. Although he was strong because of contact and an overall reliable player, he rarely hit defensive backs in the open space and changed a profit of four meters into 20. He broke only 30% of his Rushes in 2024, 14th of 23 qualified sec backs.
Wisner is recorded in the weight space this summer. His low season looked different from most players because of the wear he felt the end of the season. Outside maybe RG DJ CampbellNo recurring player took more hits and saw more collisions than Wisner in 2024.
So the start of the low season started with recovery, and made sure that his body was able to resist several more seasons of this workload. Fortunately for Wisner, this year’s running back group will be much deeper, so that he can purchase more snaps to save energy at the end of the year.
The rest of his cycle outside season was aimed at that elusive and the cutting of poor weight. He is now mentioned as six pounds lighter than in the 2024 season, proof of that change.
“Changing my eating habits, talking about the defensive players” were the two keys to Wisner to become a great running back this season.
His personality will not change from year to year, that is certain, because there is all the biggest trash can on the Roster after a few large runs in practice. However, what will be different is his fitness and agility on the field and perhaps his fast food.
